A total footprint flip!

Moving things around for a better fit.

I often joke with my customers, that “This design is proof that it was designed by a man! “ While that is entirely tongue in cheek there is a kernel of truth here, as I have had a lot of wives come up with wonderful revisions to their bathroom plans. This is one such example.

Before: The shower was tucked into a claustrophobic nook, while his and hers vanities backed into each other’s space. The customer also wanted more light and an openable window for fresh air and she wanted to get rid of the unused garden tub.

After: We replaced the glass block with a new casement window. And put in a custom makeup center in place of the tub. Moving the shower out of the nook allowed it to be enlarged and become a focal point of the space. We added a handheld shower wand and new grab bars for safety. Finished off with new vanity cabinets located so you are no in each other’s way.
